The Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam was opened in February 1978, following the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Thailand in August 1976. Since then, the Embassy has contributed actively to the enhancement of mutual understanding, friendship and cooperation between the two countries and peoples. 
In order to promote further the role and contributions of our mission for now and time to come, the website of the Embassy is designed to provide up-to-date information about Vietnam’s country and its people, bilateral Vietnam - Thailand relations in all aspects as well as the Embassy’s functions and activities.
